Jamal King 2008
From MLB Power Pros Wiki
Jamal King is a young lefty from New York. He is somewhat confrontational, taking his big-city attitude onto the mound. His 94mph fastball and hard slider are good weapons, but his breaking pitches are still low-level and can sometimes be taken out of the park.

Description
A lefty starter for my custom team, the Charlotte Chargers, this version of King is a slight downgrade from last year's, and more of a true 5th starter on the bubble. He has very low control, but okay Stamina, and decent top speed and hard slider. His breaking pitches, a slow curve and splitter, were intentionally left low-level. Last year's was a speed threat, but this year I left his speed as a more realistic high D; however, I obtained E contact and managed to gamble for Bunt Master to still make him somewhat useful at the plate.
King will be fighting for a starting spot with pitchers such as Scott Trzesniak, Justin Baker, and Nate Andrews. He has an edge as a lefty, and as the incumbent from last year, but his poor control, choke Artist ability, and breaking pitches may lead to wildness or high run totals, which may just bounce him into the bullpen as a long man (or even to AAA).
