Talk:Original Pitch Guide 2007
From MLB Power Pros Wiki
Translation Notes
Nobi ノビ
Late life on a pitch. Fastball Life 4 is ノビ 4 in the Japanese Power Pros, so I kept the translation consistent with that.--Odawali 01:11, 2 May 2008 (CDT)
Kyusoku 球速
Velocity. I think this refers to the raw speed ie at the point of release. Speed change seems to be governed by the Late Life parameter--Odawali 01:11, 2 May 2008 (CDT)
___Kei 系
"System" is the scientific translation (as in "isolated system" etc) for the standalone term Kei; it's more frequently used after a word to denote family/type.--Odawali 01:11, 2 May 2008 (CDT)
Breaking Ball Directions
The Shuuto and Forkball are the basic breaking ball types for their respective directions in the Japanese versions. I fixed the names of the breaking ball directions to reflect the MLB version.--Odawali 02:13, 2 May 2008 (CDT)
Modification Choice Order
It seems the modification choices are ordered slightly from our version; Stronger changeup and better breaking ball are swapped (check what the choices do - stronger changeup should give a bigger speed differential while better breaking ball increases movement). I fixed the values while keeping the order of the choices consistent with what we get in the game.--Odawali 02:13, 2 May 2008 (CDT)
