Sunny League Teams

In the Sunny League, you will have an opportunity to play one game against a random opponent in year 1. However in years 2 and 3 you will only play the World Gatherings to advance to the College King Series.

College King Series Teams

In the College King Series, you face off in an 8-team bracket. There are a few teams you have the potential to match up against but in the finals, you will always play the Champion Rings

The Tech Brains represent Think Tank University, a school known for its academics but not its sports teams. They are considered the weakest team in success mode, even weaker than the tulips.

The Impala Legs are the baseball team of Mach University. You have a random chance of playing them in your first year. They have 5 players who can run the 100m in under 11 seconds. You learn from Percy, the team captain and centerfielder, that they are first and foremost track athletes. The only reason they play baseball is to kill time in the spring.

Their captain is Percy, a speedy center fielder with a decent glove.

The Champion Rings represent Universe University and are the strongest team in college baseball. It is said that more than half of their players get drafted into the minors, and eventually make it to the Major Leagues.

In Year 2 they have no official captain, but it is speculated that Spider is the captain given his above-average attributes and numerous abilities.

Champion Rings (Year 3)

The Champion Rings represent Universe University and are the strongest team in college baseball. It is said that more than half of their players get drafted into the minors, and eventually make it to the Major Leagues.

In year 3 the Champion Rings add a new captain, Zero Gibson, to their team.

Their new captain Zero Gibson is their ace, best hitter, and best player overall. Other notable players are Spider, Elegant J, and Perfect S.

Difficulty Rankings

Based on what characters say in the game and their attributes, this is the "Power Rankings" of all the teams in 2007 Success Mode. These are primarily based on how difficult it is to play against them.

1. Champion Rings (Year 3) - Elite all around, they are superior in every way to the World Gatherings which are the only team that can come close to competing.

2. World Gatherings (Year 3) - Above average all around, with Patrick as a slugging catcher, as well as solid all-around stats they are the best team in the Sunny League.

3. Wild Pigs (Year 3) - Slugging team with average fielding/pitching and below-average arm strength. Difficult to deal with when playing as a pitcher.

4. Commanders (Year 3) - All around team with no weaknesses, however, without any strengths either.

5. Powerful Tulips (Year 3) - Despite being touted as the weakest team in the Sunny League, even without the Main Character they have solid players all around, especially in year 3 with Robin, Rex/Brad, and Mark Wiseman

6. Impala Legs (Year 1) - Speedy team with solid defense and below-average hitting. Difficult to deal with as a pitcher in year 1 due to the Novice-AI controlled fielding.

7. Iron Stones (Year 1) - Despite having awful fielding stats, since the Novice-AI is so pitiful at fielding it makes almost no difference. This coupled with their decent hitting capabilities puts them above Narcissus and the Tech Brains.

8. Narcissus (Year 1) - Passable team with decent pitching. Unremarkable overall, but no glaring weaknesses that hold them back.

9. Tech Brains (Year 1) - Worst team by far. All Gs with a few scattered Fs make them a rather pitiful team. It is strange that they are not considered worse than the Impala Legs.

Note: Even though the Impala Legs are considered the 2nd worst team in the Sunny League when you talk to Percy in year 1, they are actually a difficult team to play against in year 1 due to their high speed, which is difficult for the novice fielding AI to deal with.
