Rex is a third baseman that joins the Tulips in your second year. He is a musician, has a spacey personality, and soemtimes skips or misses practice in favor of band practice. He also refers constantly to some song lyrics about 'the rainbows'.

In some games, Rex leaves the team after becoming disillusioned with college baseball and wanting to concentrate on music. He may give you Rex's Glove when he departs.

In other games, Rex will continue playing with you, and is a decent hitter. His choice may depend on the team's standings; he seems more likely thus far to stick around if the Tulips are winning.

At the end of Rex's storyline he tells the Main Character that he will quit music to focus on baseball. This results in his abilities improving slightly, and his teammates' abilities improving as well.
