How do I join a tournament?

  • You must be a member of the Power Pros World Discord
  • You must register an account on Start.gg with your Discord username as your tag (or something approximate if your gamer tag is already taken)

Ok, I'm registered, now what?

What do I need to do to prepare for a tournament?

  • Add yourself to at least one of the roles in the #roles channel in Discord
    • If you play on both Switch and Playstation, you can add both!
      • Additionally, you can register for both Switch and Playstation tournaments, doubling your chances of winning!
  • Add yourself to the Tournament Participant role in the same channel
    • Make sure you are selecting the role for the right tournament, if multiple concurrent ones are being played.
    • You must have a Switch role or a Playstation role to be eligible to play in the tournament!
  • In the game, you must have a team ready to play with the right amount of 'Cost' (total team Diamond value) set in the tournament rules
  • You must have a screenshot of the team you will be fielding, along with the diamond point cost
    • Examples:
  • You must have your preferred home field set to the one that is being used throughout the tournament rules
    • Examples: Crown Stadium, Blue Stadium, etc. You can select which stadium your team plays on by going to Custom Teams -> Select your Team -> Home Field

How do I start a match once the tournament is live?

  • In the #game-challenges Discord channel, find your opponent and @ them to challenge them
  • Agree on a time to play, which lobby and password to use
  • If you cannot find your opponent, ask the Tournament Admins for assistance

Match validation / Reporting

  • 3 screenshots are required to validate your match, especially in the event of a dispute
    • (Before the game) A screenshot of your Pregame Roster
    • (After the game) A screenshot of the Box Score
    • (After the game) A screenshot of the Pitcher log
  • You may take a picture from your phone or a direct screenshot from the Switch or Playstation
  • Upload all 3 screenshots in one message into the #game-challenges channel
  • This is for score verification for sportmanlike honesty, and that pitching rules / team cost rules were followed
