Marvin is a recurring character in Success Mode. As the player's side-kick, he mirrors the player's fate, earning promotions at the same time.

Marvin enters Powerful University with the player and they sign up for the Tulips at the same time. Together with the player, he will lead the Tulips to an unlikely championship and make the minor leagues at the end of Success Mode.

Appearing as a Fate Card choice, the player has a choice of calling on Marvin in various situations for help.
