congrats to the rays! lol that was kool how Garza was blasting "2pac and a bunch of rap" in his ipod just before the game, got him amped! this looks to be an interesting and close world series. the phils are a powerhouse but i gotta root for the rays, not because they beat LA but because Aki is a favorite as well as most ex expos. go Floyd!

What an incredible series! This is a sure-classic in my mind. This is the first post-season I really have been emotional about that my team has won. I like football occasioanlly and was happy to see the Giants win, but nothing compares to Baseball. What a simply incredible performance by Garza. He was fantastic and surely pitched the best and most importan game of the year. Riding on momentum and the fact that I think there a better team, I believe they will beat the Phillies. The Phillies rely on 4-5 hitters where the whole of the Ray's offense is much more balenced and stable. If one or two of the Phillies 4-5 hitters aren't hitting, there offense is screwed. The Rays have everyone contributing and if one persons in a slump, everyone else picks them up. The Rays still have a smallish disadvantage with offense despite better clutch hitting, but they do have much, much better starting pitching. Also, while Lidge is much better so far then anyone in the Ray's bullpen, they have a very good amount of depth and with David Price, Grant Balfour, JP Howell and Dan Wheeler, they have a huge advantage before the 9th inning. So while it is near impossible to really guess the amount of games, I say the Rays will most likely win it. It will be very interesting to see what the spread is for this game and which team is favored.

Here is where you have it wrong mate ( :) ) As a matter of fact, the phillies power hitters weren't producing much during the PostSeason. It was Victorino, Rollins, Werth, and more than anybody else NLCS MVP Cole Hamels who carried the team.

I don't see Cole Hamels shutting down the Rays compleatly, I don't even know if I'd give that game to the Phillies. As shown so many times in the Rays series, you truly never know and they could very well hit him pretty well.

It's not like 13 runs a game was predicted for the rays.

Well, I was wrong about Boston, (they almost did it) but I'm going with the Phillies in the World Series. (sry Rays I keep doubting you)

Maybe another bad prediction.
