The key thing for the Rays if they want to win this series is to lose one of the first two, preferably both. You see, when people in the regular all of a sudden thought the Rays could do it, what happened? They temporaily collapsed and people lost all faith in them. So, what did they do? They played incredibly and were clearly the best team in the AL east (and in my opionion despite what records may show, the best in the game). Now they went to play the White Sox, and while it was supposed to be closer, they were still the underdogs. They won that with ease. Then they went to play Boston and were expected to win the first game, which they lost. People thought they needed it and thought they would lose the series. So, they win the next game in a walk-off and compleatly dominate in the next two. Now every is certain that they will win. So what do they do? They give up one of the biggest comebacks in post-season history. They are still expected to win the next game, which they lose. Now people think the Red Sox will win the series. So, the Rays play well of course. Now I just looked at the spread and suprisingly the Rays are favored. This worries me. They must have a losing record in the first few if they want to stand a chance. To quote I believe Pena, "We played our best when things looked the worst". So clearly, things need to look a lot worse, otherwise you can count the Rays out. Haha, this sin't what I actually beleive, but they clearly do play their best when under this sort of pressure, but an early lead is still great.

neither team is really a favorite however, being near a bunch of phillies fans who admittably think the Rays will win. If they lose, they win? So, they should lose a bunch of times so that way they can go undefeated next year!!!

No! That's the last thing they should do! That would be taking 19 games away from the Yanks!
