Firstball Hitter gives hitters a contact bonus on a 0 strike count. Contrary to what the name suggests, the bonus is intact if the first pitch is a ball. The hitter loses the bonus after the first strike of the at-bat.
Alternate Name
When acquired in Success Mode, the game text will say the player gained First Pitch ability.
