A Chicago native, Joe Tyler has spent a few years in AAA, never called up to the show. The Chargers moved on him in a cash deal, and hope Tyler can emerge as a lefty specialist and effective reliever.

Description

A custom reliever for my Charlotte Chargers 2008 team, Tyler is a more realistic take on last year's version, who came out with abilities that were much too high. This version is a bit reduced, with extra skill points going into fielding skills.

Tyler has a great drop curve, and a mid-90s fastball. The slider is his main pitch, and occasionally a circle change will come out as well. He is a great defensive pitcher, but will not be used as a fielder.
