Description

Secrets of Defense is an item in Success Mode 2007 and 2008. It will appear as a red book icon on the inventory screen, and can be used to acquire a random defensive ability.

The book is not sold at Bison's Shop but can be found inside a Surprise Bag, or obtained from various events.

Possible Abilities

The Secrets of Defense can give any blue fielding ability except the 5-Scale Abilities, Throwing 4 and 2nd Position 4.

Gd Catcher, Grt Catcher, and Trash Talk are available only to players whose main position is a catcher.

Gd Reflexes, Gd Pickoff are considered pitching abilities and thus are not available from Secrets of Defense.
