Merge
All this should belong with the Story Lines page. Despite them not being "Major", I don't think we really need a separate page for them. --MaxDSterling 14:33, 23 February 2008 (CST)
- Yes, I noticed that page after filling in this one. This was the one linked from Success_Mode#Potential_Storylines as a "A full list of potential storylines". I wouldn't be against merging but I think there are merits to a more strategy-based layout. From a character-creation standpoint these story lines serve very different functions: 1) Girlfriends: Requires dating and affection levels to progress and gives you a special ability after completion, 2) Teammates: Progresses mostly through random events, will upgrade training and boost teammate's abilities, 3) Dad: For customizing a pitch.--Odawali 23:16, 23 February 2008 (CST)
Marvin
I suspect Marvin's mini-arc progresses either by his UFO sightings or constantly being late for practice.--Odawali 12:31, 23 February 2008 (CST)
Rex
Rex's is something about going over the rainbow but I can't recall the specific events. Completion will upgrade Fielding practice.--Odawali 12:31, 23 February 2008 (CST)
- Rex will go on about rainbows and eventually he will play his band at the baseball diamond but hardly anyone will show up. He will quit his band and play baseball 100%, that's what gives you upgraded fielding. --DarkShade 16:57, 23 February 2008 (CST)
Mark
Mark's problem could be the beginning of his mini-arc.--Odawali 12:31, 23 February 2008 (CST)
Milton
I'm not entirely sure, but it seems you need to date someone in order to trigger his first event.--Odawali 12:31, 23 February 2008 (CST)
Peter
If he had an arc, it has to begin with his investment plan event. I usually pull out after he comes back with my share to get an ability(Clutch 4/Lucky), but investing further may be a requirement for the arc to progress.--Odawali 12:31, 23 February 2008 (CST)
