David Gregorio is a pitcher from Cuba. Other teams passed on him, but the Chargers picked him up as a potential starter. He is known for going long in games, but having trouble towards the late innings. He has some bat control, and occasionally helps his team offensively.
Description
A lefty starter for my custom Success Mode team, the Charlotte Chargers. He hits 93mph, has very high stamina (177), and has a a good slider and decent offspeed offerings. Though none of his pitches have great movement, and his speed is not overpower, Gregorio uses his pitch selection to wear down opponents. He is effective in the back end of the rotation, or as a swing starter/long man in the bullpen.
Late in the game (July week 2) Sittch gave him the Legends of Baseball, which no matter how many S/L attempts always gave me Fastball Life. This character does NOT fit that, so I instead got Spin 4 and never used the book. I thought I could sell it at the end, but instead it just sat. Choke Artist was just some RE, but I kept it; Gregorio has the stamina to do a complete game every outing, but Choke Artist will make the last few innings interesting, at least!
