Description
James Calloway, the flamethrowing righty from last year's Charlotte Chargers team, is back for 2008. Callway still hits 99mph on his fastball, and still has a good change and curve; but this year his repertoire includes a slightly better cutter, and a sinking fastball. Calloway's danger isn't just in his fastball; it's the moving fastballs, cutting in at 95mph or sinking away at 93mph, that can truly baffle a hitter. His offspeed stuff is just enough to get by.
Calloway also has several abilities this year, msot importantly are fastball life and release. He has almost no batting skill, but can get a bunt down. He also has the ability of Good Morale, taking a leading role in the rotation and getting it done.
