Description
Gambling is a feature in Success Mode that enables players to obtain upgrades on the Ability Boost screen at a lower cost than the required experience points.
Method
In order to gamble on an upgrade, the following requirements must be met:
- The player has either a Gambler's Ticket or Gambler's Ring.
- The player has at least 1 point of all the required types of experience points for the upgrade.
- The player has less than the required amount in at least one of the required types of experience points.
A successful gamble will grant the player the upgrade. Regardless of the outcome:
- The player loses the required amount of experience points from the pool. If the player has less than the required amount for a certain type of point, that point will be 0.
- If the player does not own a Gambler's Ring, one Gambler's Ticket will be lost.
Success Rate
The displayed success rate of the gamble can be derived from the following formula:
Success Rate (%) = {Total Of Required Experience Point Types Available} ÷ {Total Experience Point Cost of Upgrade} × 100
