Rudy Fox is a scout for your favorite major league team (the one you chose as your favorite team at the beginning of the game), and if you finish the game with enough scout evaluation points, Rudy Fox will sign you a major league contract, meaning you've won the game. At the end of year one, Rudy Fox may ask you to perform a test (Pitching test if you are a pitcher or hitting test if you are a fielder/hitter) and if you pass the test you will get more scout evaluation points to go onto the AAA Golden Apples team. He may test you more than once.
