The Credit Exploit as found by MaxDSterling is a method to gain Power Major Points, or game credits, from Success Mode repeatedly but only playing it completely through once.
The following text comes from his guide.
Alright, you've simulated your way through Season mode, had your stat/ability enhanced team steamroll their way into the world series and humiliate everyone. You've unlocked the Back Ordered item in the shop, but you have 1 point (the reward for completing season mode, cool huh?). Wonderful! I came all this way and I have jack squat.
This "shady" method does NOT involve hacking ANYTHING. You just utilize the game console's requirement that it must ASK YOU before SAVING anything to a memory card or internal memory, cool huh?
Step 1: Start up Success Mode
Create a guy you can care less about, name him AAA or something lame like that. If you screw up, he's gone. Adios! Sayonara! So you don't want to be emotionally attached to your HGH-enhanced super player and kill him accidentally. YOU WANT HIM TO BE A FIELDER! Pitchers take too long to play out, as they must complete the inning. A fielder can just whiff at 3 pitches and sit down again.
Step 2: Win the Tournament in the SECOND year
TURN DOWN THE CAPTAINSHIP THIS YEAR! (Use anything but a CHALLENGE card) By winning the tourney, you'll gain such high approval ratings with the Coach and the Scout that you'll be very close to maxing it out. Save and Reload until you win out.
Step 3: Gain the Scout's max approval before year 3 season starts
TAKE THE CAPTAINSHIP YOUR THIRD YEAR (pick YES twice). This is the key. You HAVE kiss the behind of that scout by any means possible. Grab a Prince Necklace from the shop, use the perfume, ANYTHING that will boost your scout's rating. Dating helps the Ladies Man rating which will help your scout eval more, so work for gifts and cash and spend on the girl(s) of your choice! Check your approval rating on the DATA page and pick EVAL info. The scout should have exceptionally high praise for you.
Step 3: SAVE on week 4 of MAY of Year 3!
THIS is the point where it all comes together. It's JUST before last game of the season, you've got max EVAL with the scout. If you don't... go back and start again.
Step 4: LOSE!
You heard me right, LOSE! Patrick will laugh at your sorry butt, but you don't care. If you come into the game with a lead, give it up promptly and go down swinging on 3 pitches every at bat. Once you lose, you'll all be sad, but because you've gotten the scout's approval, CONGRATS! You've won a contract!
Step 5: Cancel creation of player
This is a loser, right? his name is SFJDLS and has the stats of an idiot. Don't save him, hit OK, say you DON'T want to save.
Step 6: Do NOT save the profile
Nope, this will reset the success mode save if you do. Cancel ALL saves to your profile in memory.
Step 7: SAVE the PP points
YAY! you earned 6000 points. SAVE THIS!!! This should be the ONLY thing you save to memory.
Step 8: Rinse, Repeat
Load the save back in step 3. HO HO! You're back in buisness! and you've done no work! Repeat as many times as necessary to unlock EVERYTHING you want, including Baseball Cards.
