Ability Effects

Battler is a blue pitching ability. Its effects are:

• Immunity to hitters' Intimidator
• Reduces hitters' power slightly (Weaker variant of Groundball P)
• Mental resistance to giving up hits (Weaker variant of Poise 4)
• The pitcher does an exaggerated fist pump if he gets the final out of an inning on a strikeout.

The ability is active only when the following conditions are met:

• The pitcher has two earned runs or less and his team is either winning or in a tie game.
• The pitcher is neither fatigued nor seeing stars after getting knocked around.
