There are 9 fielding positions in baseball as well as the Pitcher (P). Three outfield (OF) positions: Left Field (LF), Center Field (CF), and Right Field (RF). Four infield (IF) positions: First Base (1B), Second Base (2B), Third Base (3B), and Shortstop (SS). There is also a Catcher (C) who catches throws from the pitcher. A player may have as many as three positions.
In Season Mode, the Pitcher can be put in any of the following roles: Starter, Swing Man, Long Reliever, Middle Reliever, Situational Lefty, Mop-Up Man, Set-Up Man, or Closer.
In Success Mode, the position at which the Main Character starts the game will affect how he interacts with other characters.
