Description
My RHP starter created in Success Mode. Originally slated to be a back-end of the rotation arm, Aceves had success leading to additional abilities and pitches. His original pitch is a level 2 forkball with more edge (instead of last year's Splitter), and he has also added a 2-seamer to his repertoire. Control and his Screwball have also improved (although everyone knocked the screwball around in games).
Aceves will most likely move up to a #2 or #2 slot in my rotation, after an unexpected Goodjob success gave him 96mph heat. Aceves will be able to keep batters guessing with his grounder-inducing movement, and keep runners uneasy with good release, reflexes, and pickoff.
