Summary
The Legendary Cave events are a series of events in Success Mode 2008 that form a side story.
Events
1st Event: Treasure Map (Random)
At the team's training facility, Marvin talks about a legendary cave somewhere in the mountains. He has a treasure map with something written in Latin, which Marvin recites:
When you see the waterfall inside the case, follow the river.
You will then find brightly shining treasure above the lake.
Marvin hypothesizes the text refers to an underground lake shining with treasure.
- Ok, let's go! - Marvin makes preparations for the expedition. He promises to let Chief know when he's ready.
- Energy +2, Carryover Points +1, Mentality +2
- This can't be real. - Series of events end
2nd Event: No Flashlight (Random)
Chief and Marvin set out on the expedition. They locate the mouth of the cave and go in. After some exploring, they find out the string had broken on the first turn. They soon emerge near the regular town lake instead of an underground one. It turns out the map only shows a path between the Lake and Mountain. The two notice a sunset over the lake.
