Description
The Spirit System is an option in Exhibition Mode which allows players' forms to change based on their performance. It can be enabled after selecting the ballpark, on the Game Settings screen.
With the Spirit System enabled, for example, a pitcher who starts out with poor form can improve his form by retiring a lot of batters in succession.
The Spirit System adds two additional forms to both ends of the spectrum; a dancing pink face icon indicates On his game, a better form than the Best Form indicated by a stationary pink face icon[1], while a slumping purple face icon indicates Off his game, a worse form than the Worst Form indicated by a purple face icon.
Modes and Versions
- The Spirit System cannot be enabled in Season Mode or Success Mode games.
- The system does not appear in MLB PP 2008.
