Pokey Reese is a gold-glove winning shortstop, one of the defensive stars or the last decade. However, he has had trouble staying on a major league roster, due to personal issues and a poor bat. Red Sox fans will never forget his help during the 2004 World Series run, including an inside-the-park home run. Sadly, he was not on a major league roster for 2008.

I created Pokey as a gold-glove caliber SS, with 2B as a second position. He has excellent speed and a great throwing arm. However, his contact is extremely poor, and his power is less than decent (although he did hit 44 homers over his career). Reese has the special abilities or Aggressive Fielder and Good Morale. Somewhere I got stuck with Error Prone and Laziness, which are good to reflect Reese's real life issues.
