Only benefit found SO FAR from having a friendship level with teammates is that they lend equipment if your player's equipment is broken like bats or spikes. Oakley however will introduce you to ladies and other hepful people if his friendship level is high. Also, at your wedding, your friends with a 2+ star rating will show up.
