Well, this skill makes the fact that you hit to the same side even more pronounced, so I suppose if you were a power hitter and swung for the fence every time, this might assist your ability to hit a homer on that side more often.  Probably useful if you are the Red Sox and want your batters to swing for right field, so you can avoid the Green Monster.
