Acutally the Spirit System is a system that allows in-game changes to form depending on player performance. (ex if a player hits a homer his form improves in the next at-bat) As far as I know it can only be turned on for exhibition games so there is no carry over. Motivation only appears in Success Mode and is unrelated to the Spirit System. Definition

Acutally the Spirit System is a system that allows in-game changes to form depending on player performance. (ex if a player hits a homer his form improves in the next at-bat) As far as I know, it can only be turned on for exhibition games so there is no carry over. Also motivation is a unique player status that appears only in Success Mode and is unrelated to the Spirit System.
