Vitality represents how well your character is rested.

A high vitality will lessen the chance injury during practice. Conversely, a low vitality will increase the chance of injury significantly. However, practicing with less than the required amount of vitality will still give the same amount of experience points, unlike working (see below).

Studying requires a certain level of vitality, or else your character will fall asleep at the desk. Exceptions to this are Annie and the Professor's homework, which can be completed even on zero vitality.

Working with less vitality than a job requires will result in a temporary pay cut. The pay cut will be proportional to the work you were not able to put in due to fatigue.
