I've been suspecting this because other abilities have alternate names as well, and they're often closer to a rough translation of the original Japanese ability name. Examples: BL Hitter/RBI Hitter, Contact Hitter/Hits for Avg, Walk-off Hitter/Clutch Hitter, Cannon Arm/Laser Beam. Alternate Name
I think Starter Finisher is an early translation that never got fixed rather than a typo. I've been suspecting this because other abilities have alternate names as well, and they're often closer to a rough translation of the original Japanese ability name. Examples: BL Hitter/RBI Hitter, Contact Hitter/Hits for Avg, Walk-off Hitter/Clutch Hitter, Cannon Arm/Laser Beam.
