Standard
Orthodox starting stats
- Fielders: F~G in stats, no negative or positive sub-abilities/conditions
- Pitchers: 80mph or lower in velocity (77 mph or lower for lefties), G~F in Control, F~D in Stamina
Standard Plus
Orthodox with a slight boost and negative condition
- Fielders: Similar to Standard but with slightly higher stats and/or Worldly and one negative condition (Tooth Decay, Insomnia, etc).
- Pitchers: In addition to higher stats/Worldly, may have a Lv1 breaking ball. The pitch type is always the most basic one for that direction (i.e. Slider, Curve, Changeup, Sinker or Sinking Fastball) and will never be a so-called hybrid pitch (slow curve, hard slider, etc).
Good Sense
Good Sense coupled with negative condition(s)
- Same or slightly lower stats than Standard, with Good Sense and one or more negative conditions (Tooth Decay, Insomnia, Timidity, Loner, etc)
Poor Sense
High starting stats with Poor Sense
- Fielders: Notably higher stats than Standard - Mostly E~F with an occasional D, plus Poor Sense
- Pitchers: Over 80mph in velocity, F~D in Control, E~D in Stamina, plus Poor Sense
Baseball Prodigy ("Genius")
High starting stats with Good Sense. Successfully saved player will be indicated as a "Genius" (Rather than the standard "Normal") on the blue plate next to the name on the player view screen.
- Fielders: Similar to the high Poor Sense starting stats, except with Good Sense and no negative conditions.
- Pitchers: Over 80mph in velocity, F~E in Control, E~D in Stamina, a Lv2 and Lv1 breaking ball plus Good Sense and no negative conditions. Breaking ball types follow the same pattern as Standard Plus.
