This is a Random Event found in Success Mode that does not make use of Fate Cards. Depending on the result it will affect your character in various ways.

Summary

An insurance salesman comes and tries to sell you medical insurance. Upon rolling the dice and injuring yourself in practice, this insurance salesman will come flying to your rescue just before you are harmed, talking the brunt of the injury so you walk away unharmed, and your policy fulfilled. Not a bad idea for those who are playing the Pure RPG version of Success Mode.

Responses

Yes : You buy a Regular Contract for $100

  • The Regular Contract pays you $25 per day you are hospitalized

No : The salesman warns that you'll regret it

Challenge : You ask for full coverage and the salesman asks if you're interested in their "special" plan

  • Becomes a three tiered fate card question. The salesman will up the ante up to twice more, the price will rise, but the benefits will also rise. Picking anything other then "CHALLENGE" will break the cycle (to choose that insurance tier, quit, or sucker Marvin). To get the highest, Body-Double tier, it will take three (check me on this) challenge cards.
    • Potential to gain higher tiers of insurance.
