So, I got Madden 12 the other day, and have been playing with it, FINALLY got PSN back up again...

Anyway, this is for general discussion of Madden 12.

Ah, you have it too. I got it the day it came out... but I have it on Wii. Bittersweet, in a way.

Actually, that's the reason I'm likely asking for an Xbox 360 for Christmas, just so I can play games like Madden, pro Evo Soccer and Forza (I love my Mario Kart, but the Wii has no good racing sims). You know, get the whole experience. Although that surely doesn't mean I would abandon the Wii.

I could take the Xbox with me to college, though...

Anyways, on topic, do a Franchise Log. That's one thing I did for a little bit, then stopped because I have a severe inability to go anywhere with a log.

Also, whenever I play, there's two things that are basic for me on offense and one on defense. I was about to say them, but it'd be a huge rambling post. So all I will say is that in my franchise mode (fantasy draft ftw), I freaking love Jacob Tamme.

Madden 12 Wii has a Fantasy Draft? I hate that 11 doesn't on Wii..

I would love a Madden log.

They had it on 09 and before, and they probably took it out for 10, and didn't have it in 11. They have it this year on 12, and I did it. Went undefeated with the Rams on All-pro, with Matt Ryan at QB, a created superstar at RB, James Laurinaitis leading an overachieving defense and my main receiver and the top pro bowl pick being... Jacob Tamme? Yep.

I recognize the name Jacob Tamme and know that I almost always draft him... I just can't remember why. He's a TE right? What are his abilities?

He's a TE for the Colts. Backs up Dallas Clark, but did really well in his stead last year after Clark's injury.

I believe he's 82 overall, with 80+ in speed and good catching skills, and he can block pretty well too. He's my top target for sure (I always need a good TE to throw to) and got more votes than anyone for the pro Bowl, even though my halfback got Mvp.

I have to get Witten + a good OLB to be successful.
