Everything on Powerful?

Does that change the sim difficulty?

I think so.

I've lost the last 3 sims, then I won the won I played. I haven't seen any difference between Expert and All-Star so far in games. I'm kinda reluctant to go to Powerful. Does that move the ball around like the Galaxy Sharks? I've got to get playing more games, too. I want to finish this before school.

Los Angeles Dodgers (29-29) @ Honolulu Sluggers (43-15)
6-3-08-The Sluggers won again, making this a 10 game winning streak that they're on. The action got started with a big 2nd inning, with an Anderson 2 RBI double, a Stewart RBI single, and a Jones RBI single to make it 4-0. In the 4th, Andrew Jones of the Dodgers got the only run off of Techer, on a solo homer to left, to make it 4-1. The action started to die down the, but in the 7th, Allen ripped an RBI single to left, to make it 5-1. In the 8th, Gonzalez got an RBI single, and made it 6-1, the final score. Techer pitched another gem for the Sluggers. Our next game is on the 8th, in Cincinnati, with Young pitching. The draft is also on June 10th, with special coverage.

Honolulu Sluggers (44-18) @ Cincinnati Reds (37-25)

6-8-08-The Sluggers won a close one today in Cincinnati. Adam Dunn gave the Reds an early lead with a solo homer in the bottom of the 1st to make it 1-0 Reds. Jack Allen got an RBI single in the 4th to tie it, 1-1. He repeated that in the 6th to take the lead, 2-1. Nobody else would cross home plate, and that was the final. Our next game is on the 12th versus the Giants. Before that though, we will have special coverage of the draft on the 10th.

"I say we look at Reid." said Rudy Fox. "If you want a fielder, he's probably the best choice."

"It would be nice to have another pinch hitter other than Posey, when Withey comes back his week." said Bobby Valentine.

"Here's a copy of Reid's scouting report" said Rudy, as he handed a sheet of paper to the others.

They all looked at Rudy. "I've told you this before. I wouldn't scout him if I didn't think you should sign him." said Rudy.

And so Ryan Reid was taken as the 2nd pick in the 2008 MLB draft by the Honolulu Sluggers. The Sluggers also ended up picking Nick Rosado in the 2nd round. His scouting report is found below.

San Francisco Giants (31-34) @ Honolulu Sluggers (47-18)
6-12-08-The Sluggers won a comeback thriller today, in a game that went into 16 innings! The action was started early again, by Ray Durham on an RBI ground-out to make it 1-0 in the 1st. In the 5th, the Giants got 2 more, on a Rowand RBI double, and a Durham RBI single to make it 3-0. The Sluggers finally scored in the 8th, on a Backe RBI single to make it 3-1. The Giants were up 3-1 in the bottom of the 9th, when Andrew Jones singled, then Alex Gordon tied the game with a 2 run homer to center, 3-3. After that, the game droned on and on, and finally in the 16th, Pablo Gonzalez hit a walk-off homer to give the Sluggers the win, 4-3. Our next game is on the 16th, in Los Angeles against the Angels with Thornton pitching. Withey is also coming back next game.

Haha, I hate it when pitchers have Sparkplug.

You would think they would know NOT to give it to a pitcher. It's kinda ridiculous.

But then again, it's a blue ability in '08, while in '07 it was neutral. So maybe it doesn't have a negative effect anymore?

Honolulu Sluggers (50-19) @ Los Angeles Angels (40-29)
6-16-08-The Sluggers won again today, avoiding a sweep of the Angels, who are 2nd in the division, but are still 9 games back. 5 runs were scored in the 3rd inning, 4 by the Sluggers, and 1 by the Angels. The Sluggers scored on an Alex Gordon RBI single, a Pablo Gonzalez 2 RBI single, and a Sheldon Anderson RBI single to make it 4-0. But the Angels scored their run on a Matthews Jr. RBI single, and it was 4-1. Gonzalez hit another RBI single in the 4th to make it 5-1, and Greene did in the 6th to make it 6-1. The Sluggers tacked on another run in the 9th on a Stewart RBI single, but wouldn't need it, as they won 7-1. Their next game is home against the Phillies on the 20th. Julio Pena is starting.
