Also picked up Soul Calibur IV, but as we all know, that's far, far less important than a game involving baseball players with no legs and gigantic mouthless heads.

Can anyone that's played it for awhile comment on whether it's possible to draw a few walks this yr?

Someone on Operation Sports mentioned that the difficulty can be changed in season mode now (Besides merely during spring training), a small but significant change for the better IMO.
Of course actually having the time for Season mode when you've got MLB Life mode now may make the a useless addition, but whose complaining?

I've been dying to say it all day, and now I can!

I GOT IT! WOO! I'm going to start out simple with a quick exhibition game, then go into the new Success Mode and MLB Life Mode.

When I was playing around with MLB Life, I was able to work a few counts to 3-0, but ultimately ended up swinging at the automatic.

I just got it and from looking over the manuel I did notice....on page 38 "you'll also control any base running that takes place after you hit the ball." For the person that wanted the stolen base record.....GO FOR IT BABY!!!!

Now I gotta wait about an hour for the kids to go to bed before I can really take a look at it.

this sooooooooooooooo f-ed up man I can't get pp 08 at any game store in my state I am done with 2ksports outside of Power pros.

Gamestop had a upcoming game roster clearly saying it would be released on the 28th. This so unfair my entire state got screwed.

Trust me, you're not the only one. A lot of people at operation sports are talking about how their gamestops only get 2-3 copies, and some best buys aren't getting it until august 4th some people have found out.

I got the game at my local Gamestop at around 2 PM today. The manager told me that they have 6 copies of the game. I was one of two people to pre-order.

I've mostly concentrated on messing around with Success/MLB Life and created the rosters for this year's All-Star game so far.

Got mine (PS2) after work at about 1:45, the Gamestop employee said I got the last copy. I asked how many they got, and he said 2.

You must live in a small town if they only had 2 copies of the game. lol
