I think that's all the settings, just ask if you want to know something.

Kansas City Royals (0-1) @ Honolulu Sluggers (1-0)

4-2-08-The Honolulu Sluggers beat down on the Royals today, after getting off to a shaky start. Starter for the Sluggers, Bryan Murphy, struck out the first batter of the season, on 4 pitches. The next inning though, he ran into some trouble. Jose Guillen started it with a single, and Olivo brought him home on a single of his own. The Royals weren't done though, as Pena hit a 2 RBI double to put the Sluggers down early, 3-0. But, the Sluggers were named the Sluggers for a reason. Sheldon Anderson got a run back in the bottom of the second, on an RBI double. In the fourth, the last two batters, Backe and Allen, both got RBI singles to tie the game at 3-3. In the top of the fifth though, Mark Teahen got an RBI single to put the Royals' back in the lead, 4-3. Then Pablo Gonzalez and Alex Gordon got going. Gonzalez jacked a three run shot in the fifth, after singles by Jones and Gordon. The next inning, Gordon crushed a 2 RBI double to left center to make it 8-4. Then, in the eighth, Gonzalez padded the lead with a 2 RBI double of his own, to put up the final of 10-4. Michael Arroyo pitched 4 innings of relief, with 4 K's and he earned a save. Bobby Valentine said, "I didn't put him in to pitch 4 innings, but he was pitching well and wasn't tiring, so we left him in there." The next game we cover will be on April 5th, against the Athletics. Ryan Techer is scheduled to start. Until then, see ya!

Do you guys think I need to bump up the difficulty? I'll play the Athletics game, and then decide. I probably could've scored more runs than 10, but I started to use only contact swings towards the end of the game. But please, post your thoughts to anything, such as the format, difficulty, or whatever.

Yeah, ramp up the difficulty a bit. Or let the CPU play the games.

I have the same issue when I play. I'm too good hitting on Expert, but not good enough on Pitching to ramp up anything. I'll often have close games till my top of the line up gets hot one inning and blows it open. In my A's season, I traded for a ton of all-stars because of a user error on the settings (Set CPU Lock on to Best Try  ), I was scoring 18-21 runs a game. Ramp up CPU pitching, but not anything else, and try it out.

Oh yeah, and I'm following.

Oakland Athletics (1-3) @ Honolulu Sluggers (3-1)

4-5-08-The Sluggers lost an extra innings, back and forth thriller last night to the Athletics. Stewart singled to lead off the 1st, then stole second. Jones also singled, and put runners on 1st and 3rd. Gordon doubled them both home then, to give the Sluggers an early 2-0 lead. The next inning, John Buck hit a solo home run to get the Athletics on the board, 2-1. The action died down then until the 6th. Mike Sweeney gave the Athletics a 3-2 lead with a 2 RBI double. Preston Greene gave the Sluggers the lead back though, with a 2 run homer, his first, to make it 4-3. Eric Chavez tied it in the 8th with a solo homer, also his first, at 4-4. In the bottom of the 9th, the Sluggers loaded the bases with 1 out, but couldn't score. In the 10th, Brown hit an RBI single to give the Athletics a 5-4 lead. In the bottom of the 10th, Alex Gordon hit a 0 out double, but the Sluggers couldn't bring him home, and they took their first loss of the season, 5-4. Techer pitched a good game, but got no decision. The next game we cover will be on the 9th, in Kansas City. Until then, see ya!

Honolulu Sluggers (5-3) @ Kansas City Royals (3-5)

4-9-08-The Sluggers won this extra innings thriller, coming out on top after a long, long game. The Sluggers got it going early again, taking a 3-0 lead in the first on RBI doubles by Gordon and Gonzalez, and an RBI single by Withey. In the top of the 3rd, Gonzalez hit a solo homer, to make it 4-0. John Buck got that run back for the Royals, with an RBI ground out to make it 4-1. Anderson put the Sluggers back up by 4 runs in the 5th, with an RBI single to make it 5-1. Gonzalez also added to the lead in the 6th, with another RBI double, to make it 6-1. But, the 6th inning almost ended up being the downfall of the Sluggers, as they gave up 4 runs to bring the Royals back within 1 on an RBI single by Grudzielanek, and RBI doubles by German and Gload, Gload bringing in 2 runs with his double. The score after 6 innings was 6-5, Sluggers. It almost stayed that way, until Olivo hit a 2 out RBI single to tie the game 6-6 in the bottom of the 9th. Gordon hit a solo homer in the 13th, to put the Sluggers up 7-6, but Grudzielanek got the run back on an RBI single to tie it again, 7-7. The 14th inning ended up winning it for the Sluggers though, with a solo homer by Withey, and RBI singles by Stewart and Jones, to make the final score 10-7, as Hallett was able to hold the Royals then. The next game we cover is on the 12th against the Angels, with Collins scheduled to start. Until then, see ya!

Los Angeles Angels (8-3) @ Honolulu Sluggers (8-3)

4-12-08-The Sluggers won today, coming back from an early deficit. The Angels jumped onto the board in the 1st on a Garrett Anderson 2 run home run, to put the Sluggers down 2-0 early. Andrew Jones got 1 run back in the bottom of the 1st, on a double to make it 2-1. Vladimir Guerrero got an RBI single in the 3rd though, to put the Angels back up by 2, 3-1. That's when Leo Collins settled down, and didn't give up any more runs, and the offense got going. In the 4th, Withey hit his 5th homer of the year off of the right field foul pole to make it 3-2. The next inning, Jack Allen hit an RBI double to left center, to tie it at 3-3. In the 7th, Gonzalez hit an RBI double, then Greene hit him home with a 2 run shot to center into the swimming pool to put the Sluggers up 6-3. In the 8th, the Sluggers tacked on an insurance run, with a Jay Stewart sacrifice fly to center to score Backe and make the final score 7-3. Leo Collins picked up his first win. The next game we cover is on the 16th , in Oakland. Until then, see ya!

Honolulu Sluggers (11-4) @ Oakland Athletics (5-10)

4-16-08-The Sluggers squeaked by today, on a game where they didn't play the best. They got down early again, on a Frank Thomas RBI single, to make it 1-0. In the 3rd, Thomas struck again with an RBI double, to make it 2-0. Greene hit a solo homer in the 4th, to make it 2-1. In the 6th, the Sluggers ran into trouble, giving up 3 runs on an RBI double by Buck, and a 2 RBI single by Suzuki, to make it 5-1. It looked like that was the end. The Sluggers loaded the bases in the 7th, but Alex Gordon grounded into an inning ending double play. The next inning, theY got runners on 2nd and 3rd base, but grounded out to end the inning. In the 9th, the Sluggers last chance, the bases were loaded, down by 4 runs, the score 5-1. Alex Gordon stepped up to the plate again with the bases loaded and 1 out, but this time converted, on a GRAND SLAM to right center to tie the game a 5-5. Anderson then singled in Gonzalez to put the Sluggers up 6-5, and Washington came in and got the save. The Sluggers grounded into 4 double plays, but managed the win. The next game we cover is against the Angels, with Pena scheduled to start. Until then, see ya!

Honolulu Sluggers (11-7) @ Los Angeles Angels (14-4)

4-20-08- The Angels finished off a 3 game sweep of the Sluggers last night, powered by Gary Matthews Jr. and his bat. In the bottom of the 1st, Matthews Jr. hit a solo home run to give the Angels an early lead. In the 2nd though, the Sluggers got 2 runs on a Sheldon Anderson RBI single, and Withey scored on a fielder's choice to put the Sluggers in the lead, 2-1. The Angels answered right back though, with an RBI single by Mike Napoli in the bottom of the 2nd, to tie the game at 2-2. In the 4th, the Sluggers jumped out to a 3 run lead, on an RBI double by S. Anderson, and a 2 RBI single by Backe. The Angels pulled within 1 run in the bottom of the inning, on a 2 RBI double by Kotchman to make it 5-4. In the 5th, the Angels tied it, on a Garrett Anderson RBI single, making the score 5-5. The Sluggers got in the lead again though, on an Andrew Jones run off of a passed ball, to put the score 6-5. But, that was the last run the Sluggers would get, and the Angels still had more in the tank. In the bottom of the 7th, the Angels got 3 runs, of of an RBI single by G. Anderson, and a 2 RBI single by Tori Hunter, to make it 8-6, Angels. They weren't done yet though, as Matthews Jr. hit his second homer of the day, this time a 3 run shot, to make the final score of 11-6. The next game we will cover is today's game, April 21st, in Atlanta to take on the Charlotte Flyers, who haven't had their own stadium built yet, and are currently playing home games in Atlanta. Bryan Murphy is scheduled to pitch. Until then, see ya!

Honolulu Sluggers (12-7) @ Charlotte Flyers (5-13)

4-24-08-The Sluggers beat down the Flyers today, in a game that looked like nobody would score. Murphy pitched an absolute gem, going 7 innings and only giving up 3 hits along with 13 strikeouts. The Flyers starter, Ulloa, also pitched well, going 7 innings as well, and only giving up 1 run. Jay Stewart was the only player with more than 1 hit against Ulloa, and he got a hit every time he faced him. Let's get to the action now. There were no runs scored until the 8th inning, where the Sluggers offense exploded for 7 runs. Stewart got an RBI single with no outs, to give the Sluggers a 1-0 lead. That's when Ulloa left the game, and the Sluggers tore up the relievers. The next batter, Jones, hit a 2 RBI double to make it 3-0. Gonzalez hit him home on a double of his own, making it 4-0. Then, Preston Greene hit one off of the top of the wall, almost a home run, and hustled it out for a 2 RBI triple. Then, Anderson tacked on another run with an RBI single to make it 7-0. In the 8th, Preston Greene got his home run, a three run homer to center, to put up the last runs, making the final 10-0. Bobby Valentine said, "That just shows you the firepower of our offense. We can score 10 runs in 2 innings." The next game we cover is the last game of this 4 game series, with Techer pitching. Until then, see ya!

I got a problem. If you haven't noticed, the games I've been playing go like this. The number is the spot where the pitcher starts. 1,4,2,5,3,6. But, if I go 1-4 now, I play 2 games of the Charlotte series, and then I go to 2 starter, which means I would miss the Athletics series after this. HELP!!
