Something weird just happened during a Royals-Indians game I'm playing. I don't know if it's a glitch or some rule of baseball I am completely unaware of. Mark Teahen was on third base, and Billy Butler at the plate. There was one out, and Sabathia had a 1-1 count on Butler. I sent Teahen home, and had Butler try and put down a suicide bunt. He clearly bunted it DOWN, not up, and fair. The third baseman got it, and this is where it got weird. As soon as the third baseman got it, the game called it an automatic out, and he doubled off Teahen who was retreating back to third to end the inning. If Butler bunted it down, not on a two-strike count, and fair, how is called an out on the catch?

Uh....... that sounds really strange. I would be steaming if that happened to me. But, I don't know a rule about it in the MLB, so I don't know why he is out.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure it was a glitch. The only way that could happen is if the fielder caught the ball before it touched the ground, which you said it didn't.

Bunting is a pain in this game...You can only sac bunt, and for some reason in success mode if your a pitcher and the com bunts you can just throw a breaking ball and they wont swing,

Drag bunting is possible and often works when done right.

How? I've been trying to drag bunt and have got the animation, is it a timing thing?

Timing, yes, but the harder part for me is getting the swing cursor over where the pitch is headed.
