I need some advice from all of y'all. There's this kid in my gym class, about 5'5", not to bulky. He thinks he runs the whole freakin' gym basketball depatment and I've been putting up with him kicking me and a few others out for a couple of weeks. My dad says to stand there, say "I'm playing, Move me." If steps at me, bawl up me fists and bop him without hesitation. He said HE wouldn't punish me, but he said the school would suspend me. He also hates this kid too. I don't know if I should do the nerd thing and get the teacher in on it, gang up on him with everyone else that gets kicked out, or just do it myself.

I'd say just don't let him bother you. Just stand your ground and don't let him tell you what to do. If he tries to hurt you, leave and then you can get a teacher involved.

I'd suggest maybe asking the guy who actually is supposed to run the basketball department to pay attention to his job.

Wait, I was reading this thinking this was some kind of after-school open gym. How could he kick other kids out IN THE MIDDLE OF CLASS?

I'd tell the teacher about it, or maybe tell your guidance counselor about it.

In other news, I have no school today, because of this HUGE storm that's coming today.

We have somewhere around 90-100 kids in our gym at a time, with about five different activites running all at once. Even with 3 teachers in there, they have trouble seeing everything. I'd rather just talk to the teacher about it, but my dad's way would be the most satisfying..... I'll probobly get a gang of my friends and I to just grap the ball and play ourselves.

Here's what I would do:

I'd try and stand up to him first, and if that just pisses him off more or something, get a teacher involved. Techinically longball's way, but eh. Your dad's way seems...like a last resort to me.

On Thursday.

No school for me... on Tuesday

I have no school Thursday and Friday, PLUS, I have a bowling file trip tomorrow!! But I'm going to the football game tonight. Yeah, we got that storm too in in Wisconsin;. But we didn't get out of school for it. Anyway, temperature is 35 degrees tonight, with 40 mph SUSTAINED winds, and gusts of 60 mph.
