Responding to this whole political mini-arguement, I have views. I state them. You state yours. I respect yours. Then its over. No argument on who's better, cause neither of us are gonna change our minds.

And on these political party comments, we'd have the same problem, just we'd all be turned against each other in it

And back on topic! Today was my friend's birthday, so instead of just saying "Happy Birthday!" on facebook like everyone else, I posted, "Congratulations on surviving another rotation around the sun. Keep up the good work."

To avoid derailing the other topic (now that the log has gotten started), I'll note this here.

I tried playing Backyard Basketball 2004 on hard (admittedly, I used to play on easy), and there really isn't too much difference, well not enough to make losing a game seem like a possibility. It makes it so you can't block shots taken from a mile away, if you shoot from the other half of the court, there's a chance you'll miss, passing and shooting from inside the 3-point line is actually risky, and the CPU makes most of their shots.

With 3 minute quarters, I wound up winning 85-48. Maybe it'll be a little different if I turn fouls on, doubtful though. Even if every steal I had was turned to a foul resulting in 2 points, I'd still probably win.

Probably the worst of the backyard series. I'll rank them
1. Soccer
2. Baseball
3. Football
4. Basketball
5. Volleyball :P :P :P

A lot of sports games in general must be really hard to make right.

I've never played a really good basketball game, or a decent hockey game, apart from Power Pros, baseball is usually done pretty badly too.

Soccer is really easy to do, every soccer game that has tried had to be at least as fun as watching soccer. You know if half the games end 0-0, you're playing a realistic soccer sim.

Backyard football was good in the 90s and early 00s.

The Classic Backyard Football was amazing

I did start writing stuff down and creating a team for Backyard Basketball, so I might wind up doing the log, but how interesting can it really be if you win every game by 35+ points? I guess we'll find out if I do that.

I could do agents! 3 players and 2 benchwarmers/sideline spectators available. You'd have to get there fast. :P

Tonight is our last home game for HS football, and me and my friends always go play tackle football on the softball field, which is right on the other side of the parking lot. It gets intense, and a lot of people get mad, but it ROCKS!!! I can't wait to play tonight. Also, vote on my new poll!

OK, so we were supposed to discuss Alexander the Great in World History in small groups, but my group got way off topic and started talking about video games. Then it shifted to sports games and I mentioned MLBPP and one of them said PP is his favorite sports game and he can make a maxed out player in 08. Should I tell him about this site, or do you think he would just think we're all weird and have no lives?

I have a life! I'm weird, but I have a life!

Well anyway, definitely! I like the new members lately.
