I can throw a gyroball, in that it has that football-like spin, but it doesn't seem to be that impressive. :? I can't control it either.
I grip the ball like a split-fingered fastball, and throw it sidearm. The way described in the link seems to be resemble the way you throw a screwball.

How did you learn? Did you teach yourself, or use a book or anything?
