And I still kind of find the playoff leaders a little odd. If the season was to end today then just the Yankees would be returning to the playoffs from last year. a few teams that haven't been there in a while are in 1st too. So far the leaders are:

ALE- Yankees
ALC- White Sox
ALW- Rangers
ALWC - Rays

NLE- Braves
NLC- Reds
NLW- Padres
NLWC- Giants

from the look of the AL the Yankees, Rays and Rangers all look like great teams while the White Sox have a solid team. First round would be Rays/Rangers which would be incredible

In the NL the Braves and Giants(who are playing now) look like the best maybe

But those are 4 interesting teams. none have made the playoffs since 2006 and it was the Padres.
The Padres have a ton of pitching and little hitting, the Reds have been somewhat balanced, the Braves have been good all-around and the Giants are a huge pitching team, like the Padres. But playoff contenders like the Phillies, Cardinals and others are coming up too

In the NL, NONE of those leaders were in the playoffs last year. That's not normal. Usually at least one team from the previous post season makes it the next year.

the red sox have HAD SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo many chances to gain on the Yankees and Rays and they CHOKE EVERY SINGLE TIME!!

They have a 3-run lead against the Blue Jays yesterday, Papelbon blows it in the 9th!

Tonight they have a 7-2 lead against the Rangers and lose 10-9 in extras

So if they just win these 2 games they gain 2 games on the Rays and are only 2 behind, NOT 4!

This is ridiculous. worst bullpen in the majors, worst Red Sox bullpen since 2002 and worst closing season ever for Papelbon, he leads the lead in blown saves

Have fun at home watching the Yankees win their 40th championship red sox, I wish I could say you tried
