I'm new to 2008 MLB PP and I'm trying to figure out exactly how I want to play. It appears Fast game and Normal game are getting vastly different stats results.
FAST GAME
I've sim'd little over 100 Fast Games, and played with the settings and haven't seen any stat difference with any changes in setup. Teams are only averaging around .220 BA and 3.25 ERA.
NORMAL GAME
In normal games (smaller sample) Teams are very low scoring w NORMAL SWTSPT, a lot like the above totals. In an attempt to get more realistic #s I've tried SWTSPT L2 and Best Try and both seem to produce WAY too high statistics.

Anyone have an idea of what settings produce the most accurate stats?

Is that a changeable option in League? I only see Normal, Lock 2L, and Best Try

You can change it manually when playing a game. Pause the game, go to options, and click the Lock-On button. it will change Normal, Lock-On 1, LO2, LO3, LO4, LO5, Best Try
