Trade Rumors

Alright, I was looking around the league, looking for something in exchange for the three starters that I currently am not using, but instead came up with this:

Athletics Get:

Scott Baker (SP)
Livan Hernandez (SP)
Adam Everett (SS)

Twins Get:

Bobby Crosby (SS)
Rafael Betancourt (RP)
Mark Ellis (2B)

Raises the salary just a bit, but improves the defense. Good idea?
No. Crosby sucks and is expensive, while Everett is one of my favorite players in this game. Hernandez and Baker are solid pitchers, while Betancourt is awesome in this game, he's not worth giving up your players. Ellis is kinda meh, and expensive. I'd say, see if you can make a deal trading Lamb for Orlando Hudson (Diamondbacks). If you want to get Betancourt, trade Sowers for him or something.

Twins Earn Five All-Star Representatives

MINNESOTA—Joe Mauer, Ben Sheets, Scott Blackburn, Prince Fielder, and Delmon Young have all been announced as All-Stars.

Ryan Braun tells me that so far he does not like playing in Minnesota. He says the team hasn't performed well since he came here and he plays for a manager who can't even remember a player's first name. Especially an All-Star in Nick Blackburn being called Scott. He says that things had better change soon or else he will not be a happy camper. He is happy however that he is at least with his good friend Prince Fielder.

I was thinking of three things at once. Nick Blackburn is the all star.

So now, Gomez is the 3B and Hudson is the 2B, right? Now, perhaps you might want to trade Livian Hernandez (he's the most expensive, right?) for a third baseman. (You might even be able to get Lamb back, if you really want him.)

Trading deadline passed, sorry. But right now, Harris is the third baseman.

Because of a boring schedule, I simmed August, and I'll sim through a lot of September. We're only 10 games out now.

Scott Baker
Nick Blackburn
Dennys Reyes
Jesse Crain
Brian Bass
Matt Guerrier
Rafael Soriano
Jonathan Cannizaro
Matthew Tolar
Brian Buscher
Denard Span
