I'm still trying to figure out what makes Brandon Webb more valuable than Ordoñez. But it's their formula, and they're the division leaders, so I guess there's some plan…

Trade Rumors

Well, here we go again.

We don't need Craig Monroe—we already have Schumaker to back up for the outfield. So, we have two options: a) Send him to AAA, or b) Trade him. I found this bargain:

Indians get:

Craig Monroe (RF/LF)

Twins get:

Masahide Kobayashi (RP, only pitcher in the game with V-SLD)
Cliff Lee (SP)
Jeremy Sowers (SP)

Doesn't sound bad to me!

Great trade, absolutely do it. After you get Lee, you can trade Hernandez for a team need, which makes it even better. Not to mention Kobayashi's V-SLD is wicked.

I knew you would enjoy that.

Liriano may or may not stay in the rotation after the Monroe Trade, but I think he'll stay.

just a classic CPU mlb power pros trade

maybe they need a lot more offense because Ordonez is A contact and A power in this game, but oddly enough A contact doesn't make things good at all :|

Trade Rumors

Alright, I was looking around the league, looking for something in exchange for the three starters that I currently am not using, but instead came up with this:

Athletics Get:

Scott Baker (SP)
Livan Hernandez (SP)
Adam Everett (SS)

Twins Get:

Bobby Crosby (SS)
Rafael Betancourt (RP)
Mark Ellis (2B)

Raises the salary just a bit, but improves the defense. Good idea?

Twins Earn Five All-Star Representatives

MINNESOTA—Joe Mauer, Ben Sheets, Scott Blackburn, Prince Fielder, and Delmon Young have all been announced as All-Stars.

Ryan Braun tells me that so far he does not like playing in Minnesota. He says the team hasn't performed well since he came here and he plays for a manager who can't even remember a player's first name. Especially an All-Star in Nick Blackburn being called Scott. He says that things had better change soon or else he will not be a happy camper. He is happy however that he is at least with his good friend Prince Fielder.
