I was trying to get a little more power before I pushed up the TRJ…but as I said, I didn't S/L. Next time.

Wow, that's amazing, in my opinion it's much easier to get an all A character than it is to get one without reloading, or a character with realistic stats, you've done both.

I didn't try to be realistic, or really good, either…I'm happy that I got ANYBODY.

One tip: Focus more on the stats themselves rather than abilities.
A E-E-E-E-E player could have every ability, and I'd take a C-C-C-C-C with no abilities over him.
Still congratsm it took me a while to get my first guy as well. Couldn't even get past AA...

Actually I prefer emphasizing abilities over stats. Abilities are what makes a player unique. If you use the player in season or MyLife mode, it's easy to train up the player attributes but it's very hard to learn new abilities. I tend to find that abilities are a lot more useful than stats; for example, getting Contact Hitter ability is better than boosting Contact attribute - especially in the long run.

Longball714 has a good point. Now I have my abilities, and I can pop Rootee into MLB Life to work on his stats.
