I had to entertain my cousin all day as he came over to my house, then when he left I took a nap and I missed the perfect game.

His grandma was quoted after the game as saying "Stick it, A-Rod".

Well, everyone will remember him after he helps my A's to the Playoffs . Anyway, the best pitchers in the world don't throw no hitters sometimes, they can come fom unexpected places. Just look at this list of Perfect Games, provided by MLB.com

They can come from the unexpected. David Cone? David Wells? Sure the're good. But they aren the studs you would expect.

I can't speak for Witt, Barker, Robertson, Browning, Ward or Richmond but I bet none of you have heard of Addie Joss. He was the only guy ever to throw two perfect games and he only pitched 9 season but is a hall of famer because they made a special exception. He was one of the best pitchers of all time and has the second lowest WHIP ever but he died after only 9 seasons at age 31 from menegitis. My all time favorite player.

I actually watched the Perfect game after I heard about it through the first 6th innings.At first I thought it was just gonna be another "Close but no cigaree."But apparently,I was wrong.

1) I've heard of him.
2) He didn't throw two perfect games, only one.
3) He had the second lowest ERA ever and the number one lowest WHIP.

Oops, I meant to say he threw two no hitters, not two perfect games. One was a perfect game though. And as for three I was close enough.

It's tough to be a Bruins fan right now

We're up 3-0 in a series against a rather mediocre Flyers team using their 3rd string goalie and now their goalie that hasn't played in 2 months and now there will be a Game 7 after being shut down the last 2 games and a Game 4 loss in OT

So at this point every Boston fan is saying the Bruins don't deserve to win this Game 7 and no one has them to win. It's going to be a heartbreaker as the Bruins will probably be the first team in 35 years to blow a 3-0 series lead

It's all up in the air Friday. The fans will be pissed in Boston if they lose at home

Coming into the playoffs Boucher was the 3rd string because of injuires and now the jobs back with a goalie, Michael Leightin, who hadn't played in 2 games and now he's allowed just 1 goal in his 2 games

I think that LeBron will end up back in Cleveland. He wants to win and he likes Cleveland and their fans. Plus, the Cavaliers are able to give him up to $21 million for 5 years, and any other team could only give him $19.2 million for 5 years.

Although this is a very interesting article on ESPN discussing what if LeBron, Bosh, and Wade all took discounts to play in New York and form a basketball dynasty together? It sounds like a great idea, and even though their yearly salary would be less than if they signed elsewhere (The Knicks have more money than many other teams but the NBA has a salary cap) but together, they would probably get enough endorsements to make the money anyway.

I think the Bruins will pull out Game 7 to make an original six Eastern Finals. But I gotta go Hawks-Habs right now. Halak and Niemi have both been lights out.

Well, apparently my dad is a huge Bruins fan. We're up 3-1 right now. I personaly like my 'Canes but I like the Sharks too. The Bruins, eh, they're alright .
