Bears got a hometown QB in LeFevour and a guy from Northwestern. Basicly filled all our positions too. Not bad for your first pick being in round 3

We had a decent draft.
I wish he would've picked a guy like Jordan Shipley (WR) in the 3rd instead of a CB, and twice we were robbed of a player I really wanted (Golden Tate to the 'Hawks in the late 2nd, and Myron Rolle (S) in the 6th to Tennessee.

I'm amazed, and holy crap, this is a fantastic move.
Just imagine them running a formation with both SJax and Westbrook...
He'll help Bradford a ton...

It really isn't a fantastic move because honestly when you get as many concussions as he has, you never fully recover. He's not going to be what he was and the backfield is going to be Jackson with Westbrook getting few carries. He'll be a serviceable back-up but he will NOT be the same guy.

McCoy couldn't be in a better position. He shows his stuff in the OTAs and activities he will emerge as the team leader. The only problem is he doesn't really have a somewhat successful older veteran to teach him up.

Also, if the Panthers did pick Pike or LeFevour you shouldn't be that happy... They are massive developmental projects who are going to need some veterans and good coaching to become good NFL players. The Panthers want to win now and Clausen helps them much much more in the short and long run.

Panthers picked Clausen AND Pike, so will see how it goes...

hopefully they have a good QB coach because they have no older QB to look up to

Both QBs can be given time to develop with the presence of Matt Moore, who althoug not a seasoned vet, will keep the pressure off Clausen and Pike. But I like this situation better than Mr. Jake "Turnover" Delhomme as our leader. Maybe he'll do something with McCoy....

This NBA schedule is messed up

The Celtics and Cavaliers start their 2nd round matchup tommorow. Meanwhile if there are game 7's for any of the 3 series left, they'll play on Monday. So the Celtics and Cavs could be playing in the 2nd round while other teams are still in the 1st round... wow


But I'm pumped. The Bruins and Celtics play tomorrow

I'm not exciting about the Bruins and they play the 7th seed because thank god the Capitals are gone so the Bruins could be in the Conference Finals. The Celtics will need an upset to take down the Cavaliers but in general, the NHL playoffs are a lot more exciting

Wow the Red Sox are almost embarrassing now. Now even getting close to competing with the Yankees and the season is slowly dying here in early may. so many problems and too good of a division

I still think they will make the playoffs. They will trade for Adrian Gonzalez and maybe not win 100 games but they will make the playoffs. The Rays might be for real though, but the Yankees do not have a very good bullpen.
