K King: Harold Thiel, 125

You can view the full stats here.

As you can see the Sea Kings had a very successful season, meeting the preseason goal of a .500 season. In fact, the final record was 84-47. Next season the Sea Kings will join the Frontier League in the majors. They also have a new affiliate called the Toronto Velociraptors that will be in AAA in the Metropolitan League.

I rate this season a 9.0 overall. I certainly achieved my goals and went much higher than I expected. I also got a permit! The only thing missing was if I made the playoffs. I didnt expect that much anyway. This was a great year!

Summary:

The Rockstars' offense really broke out in 1920. Led by the Killer C's of Covey, Carter, and Crockett, the Rockstars finished 22 games over .500 with a 79-57 record. They also had a respectable 47.7% SoS, meaning some of their wins did not come easy. They upset many playoff teams, including the County Limerick Irish Mafia, Brewster Boys, People & Things That Suck, and, of course, the Keyboard Cats. The Rockstars are still a young team, so most of these guys will be great in their prime. The PPJunior organization will undergo a makeover for 1921. The team names will be changed as so:

Major: CBS Comedy Monday
AAA: How I Met Your Mother
AA: Two and a Half Men
Park: The Big Bang Theory

Overall I rate the Rockstars' season a 7.5/10.

P.S. I'm too lazy to do summaries for my league teams.

Click this to view the full team stats.

Summary:
The 1920 Alaska Bears were a much improved team compared to 1919 and this would be considered their finest season ever. Finishing for the first time ever, in the 1st column. They matched their season goal of a .500 W/L and 50.0% SoS with a 128-127 record and a 50.2% SoS and finished the season with a score of 72.41. They were lead by newcomer Bryan Chow who had a fantastic season and came up in clutch situations. Young Leo Thomas who is only 24 lead the team with over 400 hits, 200 runs scored, 100 RBI's, and more than 80 stolen bases. This young CF will be one of the future stars of the team. Eugene Burnett, not in anyway related to A.J. Burnett, hit 27 homers for a team high. Newcomer John Mayo hit a realistic 215 RBI's for the team lead. The Bears will focus more on pitching next year in hope of a run at the playoffs. Their young pitching staff will definitely suceed soon. 1920 has been a fairly successful season and the Alaska Bears will be hoping to somehow get a permit (LOL).

P.S. Grr...everyone has one now :P I'm probably the best non-permit player hehehe.

My team is too cheap to give out awards. We go to the Bowling Alley and give away cardboard cut outs that look like awards and eat Pizza.
Even with a permit I suck :x

Keyboard Cats 1920 Year In Review

The Keyboard Cats had, by far, arguably the best season by a MLBPPWORLD-sanctioned team in park, reaching the playoffs.
Though they lost 7-0 to 8th seeded Leeroy Jenkins, their all-star lineup of starters and batters led them this far.
The team is definitely aging, though, and hopefully some guys being brought down from Majors or AAA will rejuvenate them.
They were inconsistent at times, but made an unbelievable run to make the playoffs.

What would you guys think about me doing a Simyard Log? I wouldn't post every game but I would put in some fake side stories about the coaches, players, management etc. I think it would be a fun think for me to get back into the simyard fan club. I'll try to play more this 1921 season.
