What exactly do I do at a bat mitzvah? I have never been to one before. I know I am supposed to dress up, but how dressed up must I get? Am I supposed to bring a present? This thing last until midnight, what do we do until midnight? I thought it was just some little sermon or ceremony and then a party with games or something. But until midnight? Is there some special ceremony at midnight? Thanks for the answeers in advance, I am pretty confused.

Well, I was invited to a bar mitzvah, but I couldn't go. I'd bring a present, and dress in church attire. On the other hand, I have no idea what you'd do until midnight. :lol:

I would suggest a coat and tie. What you would cal formal ware is a good idea. My guess you eat, dance, and in genarel party until midnight.

Neither do I. What LM117 said should do. My guess is that you wouldn't even need a coat.

bballexpert is right. Assuming your "around" my age. A nice shirt and tie with decent slcks would be appropite (spelling FAIL!).
