If I'm not a professional athlete, I want to be a pilot.

My brother had it a few years ago. He said it was really boring so he said I could try it if I wanted. But he scratched the disc and I couldn't play.

It can be boring. It's a fun game, but a 9 hour flight from Pittsburgh to London can be a little long. The game cuts the time in half if you have a certain setting one, but 3.5 hours is still a lot!

We are talking about Flight Simulator X. It's a game where you can fly planes ranging from little propeller planes to big Jumbo Jets on commercial airline flights.

Is it worth buying?

I would say so considering you can download other planes on the internet to add to the game.

I love this game. I prefer Flight Simulator 2004 because it runs better on my computer. I love doing long flights. The longest flight I ever did was Sydney, Australia to Los Angeles, CA. It was a 13 hour flight.

If it is 1 hour in game time how long is it in real life?

I think 2 hours. Honestly, I'm not a 100% sure. I don't know this because I usually crash before I land.

I'm sorry I wrote the GAME time was 2 hours. It should be an half an hour. Usually, when I fly on the game, It seems to be 30-20 minutes shorter than real life for an 1 hour flight. I don't usually do long flights, so I'm not sure about those. Sorry, I meant to write an half an hour.

So everything is cut in half? I realize 13 hours will be cut to 6.5 hours but that is still a long time to play a video game, let alone watch a plane go through the sky.

Google Earth has a flight simulator too.

Not a good one. Microsoft Flight Simulator is very realistic.
