well if the tigers win then they clinch but if the twins win they somehow still have a small chance :?

It's not usual but the Twins would have to win tonite, sweep KC and then Detroit would have to go 1-2 in their last 3

its at home and it IS the royals... but greinke pitches saturday

It's a long shot but possible if they win tonite

One under the radar series is Rockies-dodgers. The Rockies are just 2 behind and play 3 with LA. So if the Rockies sweep then they win the west and make history for coming back after being 15 or so games behind

the dodgers have had a chance clinch tge west for the last few days and haven't and now they might pay and suprise everyone

Because they buy their players, not sign 'em. That's how they got Teixera and Swisher (who, by the way, Swishes and misses every at-bat.)

Not true. The Yanks spend big bucks on FA's but they also have the highest % of homegrown talent on their 40-man roster.

Well I dislike the Yankees because I am a Mets fan. But the big reasons why everyone hates the Yankees are:

1. Yankees fans are obnoxious (most of them anyway)
2. They spend too much money and are always getting the best players.

Well I was wrong about no good races right now

The Rockies won and will win the west if they can sweep them. They'll make history for being behind 15 or so games and coming back to win the division

also there's the twins and tigers of course. Twins need to win the next 2 and tigers need to go 1-1 to force a 1 game playoff. But the tigers can still clinch tonite if they win and twins lose.

If both teams win their divisions, then they'll become the first teams EVER to win the division after the other team has led their dicvision since May 8th
