ok he is 1st baseman and i just wanted some ideal stats that i could aim to reach

Realistic player? If so, what kind? A Branyan-esque slugger? A pre-steroid, all-around Palmeiro? An underrated Hatteberg type?

One of my favorite 1B to use is a homemade version of Brandon Allen (ARI). His glove is below average, but he moves well and hits the crap out of the ball despite modest stats - enough that you can practice up his glove for two or three years before really turning him into a beast at the plate. His starting stats:

If you have to cut back in any one area, make it CON. A CON of 11-15 with no special abilities translates to a default batting average of .315-.370 (computer controlled). CON 8-10 translates to a solid .270-.300+ AVG plus its one of the easiest and fastest abilities to boost in-season.
